Financial Resources

It can be difficult to pay for educational advancement.  Here are some links to resources that can help.  Don't forget to check with your local community college financial aid advisor, your early childhood faculty advisor, your local Early Childhood Council  and/or your local Resource and Referral Agency as they may be able to offer additional financial aid options.

  • T.E.A.C.H. - Provides college scholarships to child care professionals to help them earn early childhood credentials and degrees.
  • Jeannette Rankin Foundation - The Jeannette Rankin Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for, and awarding scholarships to, low-income women, ages 35 and older.
  • CollegeInColorado.org - A tool to help you plan, apply and pay for college.
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) - The FAFSA is a common application for federal loan and grant programs.  It is used to determine if you are eligible for federal student financial aid programs.
  • Education Tax Credits - The Hope Credit and the Lifetime Learning Credit are education credits you can subtract in full from your federal income tax, not just deduct from your taxable income.
  • CAEYC Tuition Award - Find information about tuition assistance through the Colorado Association for the Education of Young Children.
  • CAFCC Conference Scholarships - The Colorado Association of Family Child Care offers scholarships to state and national conferences.
