Smart Start Colorado Needs Assessment Toolkit

The Smart Start Colorado Needs Assessment Toolkit is a web-based data system designed to store and manage a variety of indicator and resource data (i.e., program services) that can be explored and reported independently or in combination. Its purpose is to provide state and local funders and decision-makers with information needed to make sound decisions regarding prevention and intervention services in their communities and in the state.

The Toolkit takes users through a complete needs assessment process and provides them with a report and the foundation for a strategic plan at the end of the process. You can use county-specific pre-loaded demographic and funding data, make instant graphs, enter local resource data, assess your community's readiness to do systems work and review your coalition's current progress.

Using the toolkit is free, but to save your work you need a log-in name and password. To try the toolkit type "guest" as the User Name and "guest" as the Password. Be sure to use the built-in Tutorial in the Help section before you begin.  To get your personalized log-in name and password from OMNI, complete the username request form.
